Stan Baker

Stan Barker is the Regional Director of Business Development for Principal. Stan’s territory includes Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, Indianapolis & Grand Rapids. Stan provides marketing, business development and business growth resources and ideas to financial professionals who have key distribution relationships with The Principal®.
Stan has been in the retirement plan business for 30 years. He has worked for a large regional Third Party Administrator (TPA), a national bank trust department and the last 12 years for Principal.
Stan is a graduate of St. Norbert College located in De Pere, WI. He is also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) through the College of Financial Planning. He is FINRA Series 7, 66 and 63 registered.
Stan has presented at various national and regional conferences on topics of Corporate Retirement Plans. Stan is married to Sheila and has two daughters, Emma and Nora, and has a dog named Sadie.
