A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Sinotte has held several executive leadership positions for LifePoint Health.He served as CEO of Maria Parham Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint Healthcare facility in Henderson, N.C. There, he drove significant improvements including employee and physician satisfaction and engagement, and was instrumental in re-establishing the hospital as a cornerstone of the community by providing quality healthcare, serving as a key employer, and inspiring economic growth. During his tenure at Maria Parham, Sinotte led the hospital to earn numerous awards and accolades, including recognition as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures from The Joint Commission and a Most Wired Award for effectively using technology to enhance patient care. Since joining UP Health System-Marquette as CEO in 2016, Brian has demonstrated his ability to be a dynamic and effective leader who is deeply committed to the mission and vision of our organization. In February of 2018, he was promoted to Market President of UPHS, now overseeing operations at UP Health System Bell and Portage Hospitals. When he isn’t focused on improving patient care, Sinotte enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica, a family medicine physician, and their two four-legged babies, Angel and Sammy, both Cocker Spaniels adopted from rescue organizations. A native of Minnesota, Sinotte attended Saint John’s University in Collegetown, Minn., where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education and coaching. He later earned a Master of Healthcare Administration and Master of Business Administration from University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis.
